Study Cultural Trip

China Internaional Student Week

 

The Office of Internationalization (OIN) regularly organizes Study/Cultural trips for UMT students with partner universities in China, Turkey, the USA, and Malaysia. It’s proven by practice that study tours can offer young students cultural exploration with far-reaching educational significance that cultivates their cultural quality and cultural tolerance.

The students better understand their own nationalities and countries through experiencing different cultures improve their foreign language skills and find out more about classroom knowledge through observation and studying of foreign societies. Through the rich and colorful study tour activities, young people are encouraged to take part in social practice, understand the national conditions and people’s livelihood.

All kinds of fees and program charges are paid by the students directly to the Partner University. The Office of Internationalization (OIN) facilitates the students in this regard. The facilitation includes but not limited to online Application Form submission and associated activities for example; understanding of fee payment process. The Program fee Cancellation Policy varies with the Program Offering and is shared with the students accordingly.
The Office of Internationalization (OIN) and UMT is not responsible for visa processing and cannot guarantee the issuance of visas. The visa-issuance is solely dependent on the embassy of the country of the partner university. However, OIN can provide help in connecting students with UMT’s travel consultant. It is advisable that students participating in the study/cultural trips travel together in a group and follow the guidelines issued by OIN.
Required Documents
The opportunity for a Study/Cultural Trip is advertised by OIN. The interested students can submit the Application form duly signed by the respective Program Director and Parents/Guardian sponsoring the students for the trip along with the following documents. The registration form by the Partner University is then shared with shortlisted students. 

Documents required for application submission:

  • Filled and Signed Application Form
  • Copy of Valid Passport
  • Copy of CNIC
  • Copy of Student Card
  • Copy of UMT updated transcript
  • Passport Size Picture
